The new album is A majestic blend of raw old school hip hop vibe with 2000s RnB and Neo Soul enriched with a contemporary attitude and open minded jazz aesthetics.

Our 3rd full length record is a handcrafted and carefully curated selection of songs for alleviation. Through many years of therapy, working through loss and trauma, and trying to cope with the horrific state of the world, I’ve made it my mission for this album to serve as a transformative force, for myself and whoever cares to receive it. The overarching topic is TRANSMUTATION. Light after dark. Pain into art. „Good Life“ is a utopia.
As I began the process I found myself following the two opposing lineages of my heritage - quite literally: back to a tiny farm in a small village in the Black Forest, Germany, on one hand and to the West Coast of the USA on the other. These are the areas where most of the music was born.
The 13 songs and a few pieces of ear candy evolved in uniquely diverse sounds, structures and forms, casting light on the different approaches to dealing with the human condition. “Good Life” has been described as a delicate fusion of raw old school HipHop vibes with 2000s RnB and NeoSoul infused with futuristic contemporary RnB and a Jazz-Break-Noise aesthetic.
It’s a deeply personal and true album and it’s also a band album that transmits our live energy. It features German/Filipina artist Ray Lozano on the track “Knock Knock” and London based rapper Oscar #World Peace on the title track “Good Life”. Other tracks I’d like to highlight are “Twirl Up” and “Sunset”.
This record pays homage to the song. To the voice. To community and communication. To growth. To the mothers and mother’s mothers. To joy and togetherness. To transformation. It’s given me meaning and purpose. I’m deeply grateful for this process and to everyone involved for the trust and support. I can’t wait for the music to find its people.
